A loss of one of our own

I have just been notified that Mark Burkett, known here on X Marks as Zardoz, has died. While Zardoz had not been active here on the forum for a little over 4 years he was still one of our own.

There are no details yet as this appears to have just happened. As I learn more I will post updates.

Thank you Steve. It's been a while, but he was one of us. Prayers and blessings for those he's left behind, including his friends here.

Mark was an inspiration for me to host kilt nights, and kilt in public. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

Mark was a unique character. I don't live in Houston any more so haven't seen him in a number of years, but he was fun to hang out with. You will be missed buddy.

Sad to hear. His great sense of humor and willingness to take as good as he could give have been missed in this quarter. A unique take on a wide swath of life. As the allowed material narrowed down, he was always willing to share via other channels.

    A really good guy.
