    One i know...

    Hi!

Recently, i got my hands on two rolls of woolen cloth.

The one is pretty obvious, Black Stewart.
But the other, i really can't pin...

Is it a registered Tartan? Or is it a designers entrepentation over Stewart?

    Best regards
    Tonni

Not all tartans are 'registered'. In this case, the pattern is based on the Royal Stewart (as is the Black Stewart too) but as some of the colours differ in warp and weft, this is a tartan type pattern rather than a true tartan.
