    Nothing wrong with herringbone tweed worn with the kilt. But, like most things in life, some herringbone tweeds are more effective than others. Only a month or so ago I saw a really smashing and beautifully cut green herringbone tweed jacket and waistcoat worn with the kilt here in Fort William .
