    American Dream tartan

    Hello All!

We've designed a new tartan and wanted to share it with the group... the American Dream tartan.

To see a video we created about this new design, visit our YT page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvLsFE_6434

The American dream is the North Star by which our country has been guided since it's inception. It’s the promise that our founding fathers made to the world… an optimistic ideal, that anyone can achieve a better future through hard work and tenacity. In America, all people are created equal and have the freedom to chart their own course.

USA Kilts exclusive American Dream tartan celebrates this bright, optimistic vision. We blend the classic red, white and blue of 'Old Glory' in a perfect balance of visual elements:

    * 76 blue threads for the year 1776.

    * 13 red stripes at the red pivot to represent the thirteen original colonies.

    * A gold stripe in the center of the blue field as a nod to the "golden door" watched over by Lady Liberty.

    * We worked in 3 shades of red and 3 shades of blue to represent the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all Americans – those who suffered hardships of every kind but never gave up their personal vision of the American Dream.

With the Semiquincentennial anniversary of our nation approaching, we invite all proud Americans, of every ethnicity, race, & religion, to celebrate what is truly good about our nation - the promise of the American Dream.

It's only available in wool at this point. We might do a run of it in PV at some point in the future.
