I saw that on you tube yesterday as I was looking for a certain piping video. It was on of all things "the royal channel". The reported stated "HM met with the new PM at her vacation residence in Balmoral Scotland wearing a simple grey plaid dress." You call yourself the royal channel and you do not know the Balmoral tartan when you see it ? WHOSE IN CHARGE OF FLOGGING????

To be fair, we on this website do get rather excited when a piece of tartan hits the headlines. But to us over here, tartan is an everyday occurrence and does often pass without comment. Personally, sometimes it’s rather pleasant that way.

Looking at the way her outfit was put together, one does get the impression that she was on holiday in the country and just stepped into the room to greet a younger acquaintance on her way to a job interview. In other words, a relaxed and and informal style.
