    Greetings to a fellow Californian!

My son lives in The City and I have two nieces in Berkley, but I'm in Southern California, Orange County.

You probably are aware that the Caledonian Club of San Francisco puts on one of the oldest Highland Games in the Americas; until Covid it had gone on annually since 1866 despite two World Wars and the San Francisco Earthquake.

It's California's largest Games, held over Labour Day Weekend. Originally in The City, it was held for decades in Santa Rosa, and since the 1980s has been held in Pleasanton.

Our Pipe Band usually attends. Hope to see you there!
