    welcome to the forum
I'm reading a lot from both camps.

I do have to remove a Scottish pie stain that happened to be right in the middle of a new 5 Yard! But I'm ready to do it myself with the guidance I learned here.

    Thanks for the Welcome!

I own a Drummond of Perth kilt, in House of Edgar Muted colours.

House of Edgar's "muted" colour range is unique to them.

To sum up the major colour-changes:

    Colour: Modern/Muted

    Red: scarlet/cherry
    Blue: dark blue/cobalt blue
    Green: dark green/olive green.

Here's the fabric of my kilt, their 13 ounce Drummond of Perth Muted

    https://www.houseofedgar.com/product...-of-perth-mtd/

If intending to order Drummond of Perth from HoE please be aware of a quirk that exists!

Here's their listing for 13 ounce Drummond of Perth Modern and you'll notice the image clearly shows the Muted colours:

Not only that, but their listing for 16 ounce Drummond of Perth Modern also clearly shows the Muted colours:

    https://www.houseofedgar.com/product...f-perth-mod-2/

This isn't just them switching images! For years I played in a Pipe Band and we had a mix of Muted 13ounce kilts and Modern 16ounce kilts and they were all in the same Muted colours.

Great to see Drummond worn by a pipe band! Thank you for all the info.

Failte! Welcome to the great Rabble from the metro Boston area! It seems like we're reaching critical mass for a New England meetup. The better half is from Mystic, CT, so I am frequently in the Coastal Eastern portion of Nutmeg state.

Thank you! We should have a kilted beach day, Misquamicut? Wouldn't that be a hoot, a bunch of kilts on the beach! I could add that to the list of first time doing "x" in a kilt!
