    Kilt Company ID?

    Screenshot_20231110-132514.jpg s-l1600.jpg

Just bought this kilt off eBay can't seem to find the company online. The other tags in a picture not shown say it's made in Scotland and dry clean only. Wanted to see if anyone knew the company and share how they feel about their kilts

This appears to be made like a woman's skirt. It appears to open on the left. The straps are the style used on skirts and placed where skirt straps would be placed. It appears to be made with skirt construction techniques.

Aw shoot I forgot women's kilts sneak in the results sometimes. Well at least I'm AFAB so It won't look bad on me. Definitely gonna start bringing more thrifted kilts into the forum in the future to make sure they're the right style I want from now on haha

This does not look like a "kilt"... A "pleated skirt for ladies" might be a more accurate description.

Yeah a kilted skirt, it seems, due to the facts made by Steve. And the apron at the front...

To answer the question about the maker, it appears from a Google search that The English Shop in West Hartford (Connecticut) used to be a shop that sold imported clothing. But it closed down long ago. That label was just the name of the retailer, not the maker. At this point, there's no knowing who made it.

Ok yup, finally got it in the mail today. Y'all are right, tis a skirt. It doesn't look too bad on me, but I'm not loving its shape and it's a bit thin, so I'm sending it back.
Gonna start throwing any second-hand things I find online now in here to be sure I know what I'm buying haha.
