I thought it had potential and I needed another brown sporran anyway, so I bought it.
It arrived yesterday from New York (along with a Statue of Liberty keychain and two dice!).

I cleaned it and then conditioned it. The flap darkened which is acceptable to me.

I think it has come back from the precipice and still retains some of its vintage character.
