Colour of tie with Black Watch Tartan
Earlier I asked a question about wearing with my kilt with a white shirt, black vest and black tie. As a newbie, I will be wearing my kilt out for the first time, and by out I mean that I will be wearing it to the office.
Anyways, there were some answers to my question that mentioned that I should avoid the black tie if possible.
I have a black bow tie, bright yellow tie, grey tie, bright gold tie, matte gold tie and many other patterned and striped multi-colour ties.
Which one of those ties then would go best with the Black Watch Tartan kilt, green hose, red flashes, a white shirt and a black vest?
I am mostly concerned with the tie matching the green hose I guess?
Thank you for any great opinions!!

Any of them. Red would bring out the red flashes though. Red neck tie, red garter tie, bit o' symmetry there.

Well, speaking as a piper, who would normally be compelled to wear the issue black tie, I would, and do , look for ties very similar to the regimental type, with one or two of the leser colors in the tartan.
My opinion here, FWIW, I try to get hose that match the shirt.

I think you could really get away with any of your listed ties. That said, I'd add another vote to the red
