    My modest kilt pin collection

OK, it's not going to stop the World but this image shows my collection (so far) of kilt pins.
Nothing special except the one on the far right which is hallmarked for 1977 (including the optional Queen's head in honour of her Silver Jubilee) and was bought as a wedding present by my wife.

Nice, eclectic collection. I especially like the flintlock pin (third from the right.) All you pins are smart and would go with any number and color of tartan.

I don't think it's modest at all. It's a great collection with pins that will match with a multitude of kilts. Well done.

Thanks for that. The flintlock one is my favourite one too; I wore it at my Mother-in-Law's funeral the other week and it was commented on quite a few times.....and I nearly lost it to wandering hands twice!!

Thanks Grizzly, glad you like them.
I am looking at making some in the near future and am on the lookout for suitable objects.

Ah the madness has set in. I have a thing about kilt pins too. Am always on the lookout for unusual brooches which I think would make good pins. This is my latest find, in Scandinavian silver, paid about £18 for it.

The wife is NOT going to be pleased with you lot!! You're dragging me into realms of more mess, bits on the floor and me hunting around for things to convert to kilt pins!!
Than silver on looks like it could work really well.
