One always needs another project!
I have a brass cantle that I picked up months ago, I've got to get round to making the bag for it.
Anyhow here's an L&M Highland Outfitters plain black Day sporran for $16

I don't know the maker offhand but it certainly appears to be a high-quality sporran, musquash, nice "G" cantle (perhaps silver plated) under $50, here in the USA.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's WE Scott.

Yes I would think so.
Here's a vintage WE Scott "Prince Charlie" (EW7) sporran, seal, in the UK, for around $50.
Two of the tassels are missing, but converting it into a 3-tassel sporran isn't a bad thing.
As usual the shipping cost to the US (if somebody wants to risk it) is exorbitant, but it would be a great acquisition for somebody in the UK.

A very nice sporran indeed. Too bad the moths have had a go at it. Looks like a couple of bare spots.

With a kilt, which I didn't pay much attention to.
