    British TV

In the series 'All creatures great and small' recently there was Scottish dancing at the village fete. James Herriot was wearing an Armstrong tartan. There was a piper in full rig too.

The series 'Monarch of the glen' is to be shown in its entirety - I think on ITV3

James Herriot is such a good descriptive writer... I would almost be afraid to watch that TV show.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Lucky ducks - MOTG has just been "retired" after a long run on our local PBS station. By the way - I just finished reading a biography of the real James Herriot (Alf Wight) written by his son - very good read!
