Houston Texans and KILT
My 8 year old told me that he likes the Houston Texans football team. (were from VA) Of course, the reason he likes the Houston Texans is because of the colors and the logo, what else do you need when your 8? ince it is his favorite team, it is now my favorite team and we are having fun with this new sports bonding. One of the guys from the lodge had his wife send my son a big box of Texans items from Houston and he was a happy child. Because we are living in VA, we are unable to watch the games.....this is where it gets interesting, so hold on....But we can listen to the games on the internet from the Houston radio station 100.3 KILT. coincidence? I think not.

for the record, injured QB Matt Schaub used to play for UVA. So the Texans are just ready to be adopted by Virginians! Maybe we need to find a Mac Schaub tartan and get the team in kilts...

100.3 KILT LOL
I'm from Texas, a Texan fan, but an Oilers fan first. I'm sorry to say that KILT has nothing to do with our kilts. But that is funny, though!
Go Texans!

When I was a kid, I was a fan of the Miami Dolphins for much the same reasons -- I thought the colors were festive, and I liked the logo. Fortunately, we grow out of such things. 8)

Ah! My wife was a big KILT fan. I was more into BUZZ. I still cheer the Texans on, but not my favorite team. 'Course all our friends from H-town we still keep in touch with are big Texans tailgater fans.
I did grow up an Oiler fan. When they became the Titans my loyalties changed to the Seahawks.
My Pops use to take me to a few games at the 'dome. I still have my Oiler pennant flag signed by Earl Campbell.
