I finally got a chance to leaf through my subscription copy of the July issue of Popular Photography and much to my surprise I found an article on portrait lighting that used a guy in a kilt as the subject. Something about the outfit has been bothering me and I think I finally figured out what it was: the wearer has the belt and sporran too low, at least to my eyes. But it's nice to see a kilt in a (relatively) mainstream magazine.
I've been trying to find a link to the article on the web but so far no luck.
