    Hey neighbor

Rocky sewed the Firefighter Memorial tartan kilt up to be 46 waist, 44 hips (yup, mine were smaller) and 22 1/2" long.

Its a semi-trad with kilt straps so the waist is measured from the center straps. That gives a leeway of about 4" up and 4" down.

I liked the fit when I was the size of the kilt. With weight loss I don't fit it at all.

Not certain what "24" means. If it means length then this kilt would be an inch and a half shorter.

Sorry to be a kilt neophyte but could you explain semi traditional
Would this kilt work for a dressy night on the town?

Sorry, missed the new part. Here's how USA Kilts/Rocky describes semi-traditional polyviscose kilts.

    https://www.usakilts.com/semi-traditional-kilt.html

This one is sewn up by Rocky himself - the owner of USA Kilts.
