I met this Band in Villers-Bretonneux, France, in April this year.
They wear tartans from all the Scottish units that fought in the Battle of the Somme. Their mission is to recognise all the Jocks (and Commonwealth descendant from Scotland) who bought it fighting to make Europe a better place.
A fine body of Ladies and Gents and I have great respect for what they do. Formed in 1989 the band was 21 this year. Happy anniversary.
