    song books

I am trying to find a song book of a collection of scottish songs that would particularly include flower of scotland, scotland the brave and loch lomand (as well as other songs). I want it for piano/medium voice. My problem has been I can find books but most have simple melody lines with perhaps chording or either don't include a song list in the description or those that do don't have the 3 I particularly want. I am a professional bass/baritone but want it for my 13 year old son whose voice just chamge so hopefully the range will be limited to the middle of the voice.

I can't help you directly, but have two suggestions. First, take the list of songs you want to your local music store. They often can look up titles in the computer and cross reference them to book titles. Secondly, since you've probably already done the first, is to take this question over to the Bob Dunsire forum. www.bobdunsire.com
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

hello! If you can find a copy, the William Cole Folk Songs of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales (published by Doubleday & Co, Garden City New York) has arrangements for piano and guitar and is beautiful to look at as well with drawings by Edward Ardizzone. The old Cecil Sharp collections have these songs as well, I believe.
    Good luck!

Although not specifically what you are asking for but perhaps this may help.

    Cheers
