    US Navy Tartan

As a US Navy veteran, I've been wanting the US Navy tartan, and at the same time needed to add one more additional lightweight for upcoming summertime wear. So I ordered the US Navy tartan as a casual kilt from USA Kilts. Even though this is a casual kilt, I ordered it with 3" belt loops and a 24" length. I'll be wearing it higher on the waist. I'm leaving the freedom patch on. I think the kilt being a military tartan, and then the freedom patch sort of go together.

Rocky and Kelly, it's about high time that I bought a kilt from USA Kilts. In the meantime I'll be waiting at the corner of Jones Street and Kilt Avenue .

Aside from being a meaningful tartan to you its a beautiful tartan too. Know you're gonna like it.

Real curious how it works as a high waisted Casual, makes sense. I know the Casuals still have plenty of pleats.

I've always worn my USAK casuals as "high waisted." Really no different other than the velcro.

I, like a fair number of other lads about this online neighborhood, have a USAK in US Navy Tartan. I love it! Mine's a semi-trad, but the fabric is the same, and it's great. I've received numerous compliments on it... and Rocky went above and beyond getting me the matching fly plaid and Charlie jacket in time for this year's Burns supper. He's got a customer for life in me, I tell you what.

I also wear my USAK Casual high on the waist. It works well at that height and looks more like a traditional kilt.

If you want to wear your USA casual kilt higher on the waist, they give the measuring instructions to do so. Clicking on the measuring link shows how to measure low on the waist or high on the waist.
