    Brilliant! thanks for sharing it

It make me think that someone needs to do a Jeff Foxworthy kind of take off on his " If you _______________...you might be a redneck" skit with a similar version for Scots! (although I dont know if those gents were Scots) eg:

"If you dress your sheep up in LEDs and have the dogs create artwork with them....you might be a Scot"

"If you paid more for your last pair of custom hose than you did for your last car...you might be a Scot"

"If your father has more clothes with pleats in them than your mother does...you might be a Scot"

    Thread possibility?

I'd make some crack about them having too much time on their hands, but I just sat here and watched it...four times.

The answer to the OP's question "Why?" is to advertise Samsung LEDs. The skeptical among us might wonder how much of this is real, and how much is post-production. Hint: They created an illuminated Mona Lisa on a flock of sheep.

I do have my suspicions about the Mona Lisa thing. In their defense, they did it in 'tiles' which are easy to crop to the proper size, eliminating any extraneous stuff.

Also, the human eye WANTS to see patterns. It's in-built in us. Which is why those photo-mosaic programs have such an easy time, even when it's using a colour that isn't in the original image. The human brain simply edits it in.
