    Wow that's a big cantle!

    I wonder when that dates to. I've not seen that one before.

    I found this modern (pre-RRS) photo of the KOSB Pipe Major wearing this Celtic knotwork cantle.

    From the looks of it, it could have been a civilian pattern with the plain oval to centre, upon which their badge was added.
