    Any suggestions?

In a different post I had all but made up my mind to buy a tank and half belted plaid in the Order of the Rouse Clan Hunting tartan.

I'm a bit more comfortable in the more toned down colors, reserving the bright stuff for reenactment events where pageantry is the name of the game. My wife however made it very well known that she would rather (since this is a special pre-registry weave project) I get a kilt in the Order of the Rouse Clan tartan (standard colors). The idea being that I could save a bit by going in with the rest of the group when we order the Hunting tartan in 2014 so that we all can have our garments all in time for the kick off dinner in early February of 2015. This tartan is a bit louder than what I'm used to, in fact it will be the only yellow in my wardrobe.

This leaves me a couple of questions. First: Does anyone have any recommendations for someone to make a special weave kilt for me and a fringed shawl for the Mrs. (I won't be donning a plaid in this tartan. It would be a brightness overload.)
Secondly: What color options should I consider when I start accessorizing (hose, jacket, waistcoat, etc.) to help tone it down a bit? I have a dark green Kenmore doublet in the works for black/ white tie functions. However, that will likely not be the only time this kilt will be worn.
