Interesting the dress of the three pipers I see there, a mix of Royal Scots Fusiliers kit with other things.

There's an XMarker who has put together the entire uniform of the pipers of the 2nd Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, and he often wears it when piping. (He lives in Germany.) It's perhaps the most interesting pipers' uniform in the 1881-1960 period. The Seaforth Highlanders were unusual in that they maintained different uniforms for the pipers of the 1st and 2nd battalions post 1881.

Cool to have such reenacting going on in the Czech Republic!

Thanks for reply! Those pipers are in first men with passion to play bagpipes or drums, in second they wore uniforms and we try to make it on them perfect on the run. At least the Colour guard is "in lookable norms" I hope! Some pieces of kit are so expensive, that we must use replicas made by photos. Sometimes it is hard to find them at all! And in many cases it is hard to find proper informations. However, we try to made it correct and thatīs why I post photos here to gain feedback from natives...thx!ith:

P.S. We were massed for the march from Seafort Highlanders, RSF, Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Bde, KOSB and 1st and 6th PARA... since here in Czech republic is strong base fot the british troops and clubs interested in them!
