    Balmoral Bonnet...

    Hi guys!

After hesitating for a while I am now going for a Balmorel bonnet (by Robert Mackie of course) in navy blue...for in my hometown Hamburg we have a proverb: It doesn't matter which colour you wear as long as it is navy blue)
    No, seriously.
I like navy blue and it goes well with formal and informal wear BUT!!!
Diced or not that's the question.
Please let me know your opinion!

    Thanks and Tom

To me, it's all personal taste. Either looks smashing, but I tend to lean toward a solid color Balmoral.

Do you prefer undiced in general or only with navy blue...I saw lovat green diced f.g. which I find quite attractive.

This might be because some regiments wear them and tourists think that is what you need.

    Still, not diced

Dicing the same color of the bonnet is quite nice. The navy blue bonnets I've seen have the red and black/blue dicing which I find to look military, band, or costume looking.
