The bad news is that I will have to wait till Nov to finally try it on. That is when we come back to the US.

I am excited and I have DLed the X-kilt and will look to see if I can find any fabric here in Costa Rica at at a reasonable price.

Thanks all for being patient with this Newbi

    Cheers

    Ray

If the kilt stands up to the rigors you are after and fits as you hope it will. It is a win-win. Photos when you get the chance will be appreciated.

I wanted a Utility Kilt and I got my first "tartan" kilt today as well.

    It is a Hamilton Grey

This one is coming from England and I found it on Ebay from an ebay store called "Hamilton Kilts"

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/170595691091

Hopefully no one here has had any bad experiences with them.

Here is what they say about the kilt...
    FEATURES:

    · 23" drop length

    · 5 Yard kilt made of soft acrylic

    · Neutral tartan , anyone can wear it

    · 2 Leather straps allowing waist adjustments to 1”

    · Suitable for formal and casual wear

    · Generous amount of deluxe fabric for nice deep pleat

I figure this is a good "get my feet wet" kilt.

    SO did I do ok?

    Ray
