I was at a toy train show sunday wearing a blackwatch kilt, clan shirt with hose and ghillies. One woman told me she was clan and then said it's great that you feel comfotable enough to wear that here.I thanked her and I said I do it all the time.

I've been known to attend model railway exhibitions teaming up my Black Watch kilt with a polo top commemorating the Great Western Railway King class steam locomotive no. 6024 King Edward I., as the polo top in Great Western Railway dark green happens to be a good colour match for the kilt. As many will know, this English King was notorious as hammer of the scots so this combination is invariably a conversation piece at the show, especially with our English guests and I always tell them the combination of Scots kilt with English polo top ensures all should feel welcome at the show.
