Yes, as a fellow Cunningham I would agree it is the most beautiful tartan. Lucky you being able to buy up the entire stock of PV fabric.

My one concern would be how heavy it is, in my experience fabric like this is best suited for other projects, but is too light for kilts, your mileage may vary of course.

The nearest JoAnn's is 35 miles away from me but I may just have to go see if they have any. Thanks for the alert.
They did have a nice looking very subtle black/charcoal plaid last year that would have made a good kilt but I had no funds at the time I saw it. When I got there with the funds a week later, it was all gone.

As an adopted Cunningham (Sept) have to agree with you the Cunninghams have some beautiful Tartans. The hunting Tartan is especially beautiful and some of the Formal Tartans. There is an unusal Purple Tartan, I'd love to see what that looks like in the Flesh.

Yes, it is not 16oz wool but it feels about the same weight as my USA PV kilt. I have not gotten home to check so I'm not positive. However, a light weight PV kilt in family tartan is better then not having a kilt in a family tartan.

You know the lady in that picture looks fantastic, to bad you couldn't be in the picture with her. Hold it, OK, if I put my hand over her side of the picture I think I can see you.
