    Employee Appreciation Day 2014

Wednesday, July 9th the Annapolis Complex of the Maryland Judiciary held its Employee Appreciation Day. This is me with Mary Ellen Barbara, Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals. The lei is from the theme of the luncheon. The lady at the registration table insisted I take a purple one.

Looking good. My agency just gives a chicken dinner for employee appreciation day, which happens to coincide with Thanksgiving time.

Striking kilt! I love the color purple in a tartan. And the lei certainly goes nicely with it. I like your outfit, especially your sporran, belt and buckle. Thanks for posting the picture.

I can easily see why Judge Barbara is a Chief Judge. She certainly appeals to me. I hope she lets me off with a suspended sentence, ... like this one.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

The kilt is the Freemason Universal tartan. The sporran is the Father's Knot from Wyvern Leatherworks. The Bottany Cross buckle is from the Scottish Tartans Museum. (The Bottany Cross is found on the Maryland State Flag.)

Who was the kilt made by? Looks like my next purchase is in the cards.
