The end of a good procedure

I put on my clothes after getting 2 stents put in my heart, as came out in my clothes my nurse laughed & said "Youre wearing a skirt.". I promply informed her, "ladies wear skits, men wear kilts.". I then did a slow 360. She then remarked that it was a kilt while all in attendance clapped.
I feel top of the world today!

Its great to be a kilted man

I would have replied "A few minutes ago you had me wearing a set of pajamas, backwards. You didn't think THAT was funny?"

If you want to make a lot of friends at the hospital, just try wearing one of those hospital gowns backwards...with the opening in the front...that'll shut 'em up.

When I was in for an appendectomy recently, one guy who came in through the emergency room bugged the staff until they got him tow gowns so he could wear one the right way and one the other way round so as to preserve his modesty.

Anyway, from what I've heard, you must feel magnitudes better after this procedure....hope that you're enjoying better health now.

    Best

Sanx for the kind words Cousins. I do feel better than I have in a while. Now I have to do everything they told me.
Regarding the gown. It seems different hositols have different rules. I was offered jammie top & bottoms & chose to just wear the bottoms. They were fine with that. I have been spanked for that before in mixed gender wards.

Glad to hear that the procedure went well. It focuses your mind, doesn't it? It certainly did for me when I had my pacemaker fitted. Puts into clear perspective what really matters and what doesn't matter at all.

Yes, life is good - well compared to the alternative!

    Regards

    Chas

Enjoy the sensation of oxygenated blood reaching the parts that really really need it, and take full advantage - no sense wasting the genius technique of stents.
