Here are the 2 badges that came with it, one has Scotland and the number 113, does anyone know what the 113 is for ???
Try asking these people. This is the band whose name appears on one of your badges, but on their site they say that they wear glengarry's (there's ne'er a feather bonnet to be seen!).
That is where I got the bonnet from, the band started in 1902 and apparently changed the name in 1912 to Galt Kilties. Am thinking that the 113 number is the original 1902 badge and the Galt Kiltie badge is the new (1912) one. They appear to be copper badges with some kind of other metal coating. Other items obtained have newer, post First World War metals ( glengarry, belt, sporran and plaid brooch).
