Finally got my kilt, hose, etc.

Finally got my kilt from USA Kilts (semi-traditional in MacDonald), and kilt hose to fit my Calves Like Tree Trunks. Wore it to an early Thanksgiving dinner, got some pics. What do you think? (Other than the obvious need to go on a diet)

I know what it's like, having large calves! It can be challenging finding hose that fit right.

I recently had bespoke/custom made diced hose-tops for a Full Dress uniform, and when they arrived there was a note from the shop sort of apologising for how big they were, saying I could throw them in the washing machine to shrink them... I had to assure her that they were in fact just right!

Old military hose-tops fit my wrists... not even close to fitting my calves.

Like you and OCR, my calves are huge 23", the only hose that fit "off the rack" are these:

I have the same kilt cousin. Your pics are a sharp look. Often wear the white shirt with our tartan. And, if you can still get pics, turn around and give us a pleat shot of Rocky's work.

Looking good! Only suggestion I'd make is to tighten your belt so it sits up about an inch. We MOS (men of substance) often have this happen.

    Cheers...Bill
