I don't know of any in Peoria, but there are a couple in Scottsdale. Check out Michael's site: www.kiltrentalusa.com. He is a nice guy to deal with. Send me a PM, if you need anymore help.

Arizona Kilts in Scottsdale, Kiltmart downtown Phoenix. Both have websites. Of the two I understand that the better experience- which sometimes includes tea and cookies- is at Arizona Kilts. Nothing in Peoria that I know of, but I've only lived here for 11 years. But if you have time while here and wish to meet up for a brew we have a nice venue that the rabble this side of town gets together at sometimes. Let us know!

Kiltmart.com is on Central Ave in the back of a pawn shop. They have a website and sell inexpensive (read Pakistan) products. I've purchased some things there as I can go in and see them first hand. They are primarily web based.
By far the most knowelgeable person with the best quality, IMO, is Graeme Niven at Arizona Kilts (www.arizonakilts.com). Graeme is a Scot. Their primary business is rentals, but also sales. I've just gotten acquainted with him and he knows his stuff. He's in Scottsdale. When you go into his shop you'll find that he actually walks the talk (he'll be kilted).

I absolutely agree with everything everyone else as said here. www.Kiltmart.com is fine if you're just looking for cheap accessories or a cheap kilt. decent quality, but you'll get what you pay for.
Graeme at www.arizonakilts.com , as has been said, primarily deals in rentals, but will also do sales as well. He is a great guy, and I can't say enough good things about him.
Then Graeme's nextdoor neighbor and immediate competition is Michael at www.kiltrentalusa.com They are both very close to each other and I believe Michael's store does both sales and rental equally.
I do not know of anything on the west side in Peoria though.
Good luck!

It's nowhere near Peoria, there is a kilt night on the east side about 40 miles away from where you are at a Cigar Shop in Gilbert on March 27th. If you enjoy cigars and would like to join up with a bunch of other kilted rabble, you're are definitely more than welcome to join us.
either send me a private message, or email me at ayin@mcfye.com
Cheers!

There used to be a Scottish/British shop in Tempe near ASU but think its long closed.
There used to be an Irish shop in West Tempe, but it seemed mostly party type goods.
Check the Internet and the Yellow Pages.
Think there's an Irish Heritage Center thingie down in the park over the I-10 tunnel

Jeff,
To go back to your original question, there's nothing kiltwise in Peoria itself. It's about 30 minutes from where I live in Peoria to downtown Phoenix (kiltmart). And, you can get to Arizona Kilts in Scottsdale in 45 minutes or less. It's not a big deal.
When you are here, there are several of us in the northwest Phoenix area around Peoria that get together regularly -- particularly at www.lisdoonvarnapub.com in Peoria. It would be great to get together if you have time.

Jeff,
Michael actually does both sells and rentals out of his store: www.kiltrentalusa.com. I bought all of my stuff there for my wedding last year and rented kilt outfits for the rest of the bridal party.
