My 10th day of continuously wearing the kilt. Yesterday evening, I cut the grass in an old TKN (The Kilted Nation).] kilt. Today I wore a AmeriKilt in Tiger Stripe. This summer I dropped a significant amount of weight and now wearing some of my kilts I've not worn for a long time. Went to Games area to erect my tent for the Highland Games this weekend. Relaxing now in my first 'kilt a 22 YO comfy Sport Kilt with Druisilla in my lap. Who said males can't multi-task!

    Kilted Friday

Two weeks after Prostate surgery and I felt like donning on the kilt. Wore a khaki shirt, USMC kilt from USA Kilts and blue hose. Have been wearing 5.11 TDK's around the house during this time. Went to my favorite restaurant were many of the employees love to see me in a kilt. They get mad when I don't wear one. Also, on the way to my table 3 ladies stopped me and ask if the tartan was Royal Stewart. Told them no that it was USMC tartan and they said that was even better. Now that I am on the mend I see me wearing the kilt more often.

Spent today driving down to Milwaukee for the opening ceremonies of the Wisconsin Highland Games, which once more fall on the same weekend as the annual Harley-Davidson gathering.

The commemorative t-shirt takes note of that fact again:

The Harley riders at my hotel thought it was pretty cool.

Spent the rest of the weekend kilted, too.

A parishioner snapped me in the sacristy at church on Sunday:

I remained kilted today while Lovely Wife and I decluttered the basement and did various errands (Menards, Aldi, etc.). Sock Monkey (our cat) is using the kilt as a blanket in my lap while we wait for the grill now before dinner.

It's not so much multi-tasking as getting distracted. I was cutting the grass last Friday when I spotted some blackberries that needed picking. So on with the wellies. The kilt rides above the blackberries...

    unfortunately not all the time.

If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Looking great, and to me that tartan looks like the "Ulster" tartan.

That's a fabulous sporran. May I ask where you picked it up? Needless to say (again) but good looking outfit.

Today in TGIKF land this happened

He is the second other kilt wearer I've seen this week, besides Tartan Tuesday of course, his first comment was "My kilt has pockets." To which I replied "My kilt has a sporran." I love it when I bump into other kilt wearers.
