Knees out
So I wore my kilt to church last night (actually, I've been wearing kilts since Sunday morning, and again this morning, so five days kilted so far), and as I sat down, I heard something I've never heard before.
A woman down the row from me, a delighted smile on her face, says, "Oh, you've got your knees out again!"
I was at a loss for what to say, but happily a pretty blond came and sat down next to me, obviating the need for a reply. And to think, I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is to wear a kilt.

Gotta love it - that's a good one. Start my day with a smile - AND my "knees out."

Nice, indeed.
As I'm reading XMarks this morning I, too, am starting my day with my "knees out."

Has it occurred to anyone else that people love to talk about your knees when kilted, yet I have shorts that show more knee than my kilts.

It's been a long strange ride so far and I'm not even halfway home yet.

Indeed. Since I moved to the beach, except for the coldest of days, I am always in shorts. Now that I am beginning to wear a kilt (or two) I also noticed that my knees show less than with shorts. No one has ever remarked about my "knees" - just about wearing shorts on chilly days.
No comments about my knees while kilted - yet.
