My Girl

About a year ago I posted the news that my daughter had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I really can not tell you how important your messages of encouragement and support were to me.

Treatment has been successful. My Girl is a survivor.

Herewith, I post a picture that was taken at the recent Walk To End Cancer. It has been a long year, an anxious year and at times, a very scary year. But here is the pic.

That's fantastic news. Well done to your daughter and for your strength and support to her. May she enjoy good health for many many years to come. Best wishes to both of you.

I'm sure it was a very scary year and, thankfully, it turned out to be successful. My wife and I have three very close friends who are all survivors - three, five and eight years. Our daughter and I are quite actively involved with two groups in raising funds to help fight this dreaded disease. As you, in the photograph, I, too, am frequently seen wearing pink - and proud to do so.
