    Smile My new tank!! Woohoo!

I recently had Marton Mills produce a short-run of the Massachusetts Bay State tartan, double-width, heavy-weight 16 oz material. Ordered 11 meters, with overage, received 13.4 m or 14.65 yards. I ordered in late Feb received in May. And they did a great job with the color selection, deep navy blue, nice sapphire blue stripes and the ever-important dark green color. Fabric is really nice, I really recommend Marton for anyone who requires a short-run of material. I had Judy Sullivan in New Hampshire produce two (2) kilts, both 8-yard beasts, one for a friend of mind going to Glasgow for a wedding and myself as well. She's a fantastic kilt-maker! Also altered a 9-yard Austin heavyweight tartan for myself. (Apparently I've grown a little around the middle since the onset of middle age. Someone said beer has calories, can anyone confirm?)

Am I the only one who thinks these 8-yard TANKS, have a certain magical quality to them? This will be handed down through the family for generations.

Just wanted to yell from the hill top, everyone have a great summer!!!

    Notlob,

Hope your buddy realizes what a great friend you are. Congratulations on the new tanks. By the way, love the colors.

That`s a good looking kilt. Yes, beer has calories. So does whisky, but whisky gives more pleasure on a per calorie basis. I try to stick with whisky.

As a Boston native, only way I know how to express it. Great kilt. I will look forward to some action shots.
