    Wink Really? In Church???

While I am on 'vacation' visiting my father, we went to church. Normally, I do go wearing my kilt etc. Walk in, get him seated and go to get the bulletin for the service and a woman walks and says - I love a man in a kilt. and like on TV - "But wait - there's more...!"

So, go up for communion, the priest says "the body of Christ - love the kilt - the bread of heaven". Now, I have go through the prayer book looking to see were this is written as I do NOT remember this from previous visits!!!

Father Bill, perhaps not in your book, but you are an Anglican. I'm pretty sure it's part of the Presbyterian liturgy. The appropriate response is: a) if the clergy is kilted ... and also with you; b) if the clergy is not kilted ....and with thy spirit. Hehehehehe.

Yeah, totally makes me grin, too. Being raised in church, I appreciate when clergy are cool about stuff like that. Thanks for sharing.

    Mr. Shepherd,

Love the story. Maybe you should encourage him to get a clerical kilt.

Nice story. I don't recall that line in any of the prayer books I have read. Being non-denominational, that's quite a few. It is nice to see that you were well received.
