RedHotChiliPipers and Quaboag Highlanders
Last Thursday my pipe band the Quaboag Highlanders had the pleasure of playing a show with Chili Pipers. In this clip we were playing a version of Highland Cathedral. It was a great time and these lads deserve to be famous because they work HARD! I never thought performing like they do wile playing bagpipes was possible. I was waiting for the cd to skip at times it sounded so good. But I saw it first hand they are the real deal. Enjoy!

Regarding your video: Sweet!
Regarding the suggested videos on the sidebar: I am suprised that Youtube allows videos of cockfighting.

Great video! I have always admired the Red Hot Chili Peppers for just the reason that you suggest: they treat their work as a profession and they work hard. While not heralded as much as some of their other albums, The Uplift Mofo Party Plan was all that I needed to hear to know that those guys were amazingly talented at their craft.
Come to think of it...their wearing of a single sock could come in handy on windy days wearing a kilt!
That really is a great performance on the video. I am supremely jealous of your having shared a stage with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Thanks for posting this.

Strewth!!
The Chilli Pipers are dynamite. That must have have been fantastic to share the stage with them. Saw them in Dumfries in Nov 2009. Still talking about it.
The Chili Peppers on the other hand are pretty hot too but me thinks a slightly different genre. Clear distinction between hard rock and bag rock if you listen carefully.
Not takin' the Mickey mind, easy mistake to make.

Heard the Red Hot Chilli Pipers live for the first time at Ashbourne 2010 - fantastic. Immediately bought one of their CD's, but it can't compete with hearing them live in the open air. I've listened to pipe music all my life, but never did it come alive in the way they do it with bagrock. I am also a rock fan, which obviously helps.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
