Shout Out to ANNE THE PLEATER
Massive shout out to ANNE THE PLEATER!!
She offered to make this hat for me, or to re-use one of her old ones. Throughout she refused any compensation. It arrived today, and I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT!!
Anne the Pleater - YOU ARE A GODDESS!

Glad you like it - they are not difficult to make once you get the hang of them. Don't know how far back the method goes, my nana could remember the death of Queen Victoria and she learned to crochet as a child - my nana that is.
You wear it well.

My wife's wearing it now. My God she looks so cute in it. She looks she's 20 years old again. She loves it. But she won't let me take any pictures.
Anne.... Thank You.

Anne is a QUEEN.
And my wife - who was always my queen - looks 20 years old again, wearing this. I'm moved.
Nice job, Anne the Pleater.

Nice job, Anne the Pleater.
And you had it so short a time - my commiserations, I ought to have warned you as many others have reported the same thing happening to them after only a few hours.
At least - if I remember correctly, you have someone making a knitted version for you. Maybe ask to have your name knitted in.

lol - my wife has indeed taken ownership of that hat. Maybe she'll let me borrow it from time to time. She really loves it.

Very nice!
My wife crocheted one for me very similar. The only picture I can find of me wearing it is this one, just off the set of Outlander.

I jest.

Anne ROCKS!
Me in USA wearing Anne's cap for Halloween. The fabric is SO NICE. Certainly a lot nicer fabric than the chainmail. ;)
Thank you Anne The Pleater.
