A trip to Georgia, with a side trip to the tartan museum

My wife and i are going to Georgia, but my wife has given the OK to stop at the Tartan Museum. This is a major step forward in her kilt acceptance. WoHoo!
Actually her acceptance began a number of weeks ago, but that story will have to wait till after we return home. (She has left me wear a kilt to church four out of the last five Sundays.) Progress!

That is very good news. I would be interested to see a good photo journal and description of your trip to the museum. I have never been and, life being what it is, might never get there but I know that there is loads of really valuable and interesting stuff there.

Good for you Butch. Maybe soon she will be wanting her own tartans. Been trying to get my wife in her clan tartan for a while now. I think she figures one with the Tartan bug is expensive enough.

Be sure to let us know when and where in GA. If it's for the Stone Mountain Games, you might want to check out that thread and drop in at the Celtic Tavern with your bride on Friday PM beforehand. You can get to know a few Xmarkers up close and personal.

And double check to make sure the museum will be open. For Stone Mountain weekend, the whole staff goes down so the museum is usually closed.
