Just ordered a Semi Traditional Kilt, US Army Tartan, from Rocky! I feel your pain! Semi Traditional Kilt PV was selected over a wool because the temp in Mississippi doesn't get that low. The US Army Tartan was selected for my 29 years of Army service.

I hope you're right!! That would be great!!! I can't wait for it to get here. I've been pretty well behaved over the last year or so and haven't added anything to the closet as far as my kilts go.

My first purchase from Rocky was a Semi-Traditional Black Watch and it's just about perfect for here in San Diego. But I think I'm going to be ordering a tank nextime in Ancient Campbell. I have to save my nickels for that one for sure!!

I have a Casual "off the rack" Celtic Nations that I picked up in early November - at Rocky's store. I met Rocky and his lovely wife - who are wonderful people - and bought a casual kilt. I have been on a weight loss track for the last year (lost over 30 pounds over 12 months) and when I get to my target weight (summer 2013?) I will be ordering a semi-trad from USA Kilts. By then I should have a "favorite" tartan in mind. The next time I drive up there (6-hour round trip) I plan to get some nice "accessories" - such as an Argyle or a PC - and some other goodies......
