I've been looking at these with increasing interest lately mainly because I like the style and leather texture/finish on these but I was also thinking they'd look good with a kilt. Perhaps a bit more stylish than a pair of Wellies, what say you?
Yes, more stylish than Wellies although I'm not big on zippers (old school) especially on the outside leg but zippers can be practical for putting them on and taking them off. Depends on what they'd be used for.
In a word, yes...but...if I were going somewhere that required Wellies or similar boots then I would wear jeans or the like. I would hate to get muck and grime on my nice (or even a casual) kilt. These things are expensive...why not wear tr@users afield and then come home and kilt up to celebrate the day's activities with your mates?
Very noce boots! I would certainly wear these with the right outfit.
I dig'em, but with all footwear its hard to tell until you slip them on. Unfortunately most boots cost so much, it would be a expensive experiment. I like some of Verillas boots, but at $450-500US I dont think I'll ever own a pair. www.verillas.com
From a strictly "style" point of view, I think they would look great, especially with a kilt. Very stylish!
But, I'm not sure how functional they would be. They would certainly help keep your legs warm on a cold day, but quality Scottish hose do a good job of that, too.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
