You know you have made it when...

My child bride told me this one tonight at dinner.

On Sunday afternoon we were in the local Wal Mart to pick up her last minute school supplies (she is a teacher). We met up with one of her fellows that she had not seen for several years and chatted for some few minutes. During this I was introduced to both her and her husband, passed polite time and then we went our merry way.

Fast forward to today. The co-worker asked my wife today if I had been wearing a kilt. It seems that during the time we were all together, she never noticed and wouldn' have known if her husband hadn't asked her about it.

My take? Guess I carry it off pretty well if people can stand and talk to me and not notice the kilt.

    Mike

that IS nice, I frankly don't like to stand out in a crowd.

I long for the day when kilts will be so commonplace that it will not be unusual to see a man in a kilt.

It's the smile, eye contact, and confidence that only a kilt can bring!
    Well done Mike.
