    My First Wolf Whistle
A loud one too...sadly from a teenage guy....I was walking away and didn't give him the satisfaction of turning...what's the point, I'm still straight...thought about throwing some sign language his way...didn't...wearing my Pittsburgh Kilts Desert MARPAT....probably what he was whistling at...

But hey...how often does a fat 60 year old guy get a wolf whistle...even if he's being made fun of...it takes a kilt....

Teenagers are a real mixed bag these days. I've had the wolf whistles and cat calls... but also thumbs up and "cooool". Almost invariably, the former happens with where one teen is trying to impress another.

BTW, was he wearing those disgusting baggy cargo pants?

Just tell the guy that he is not your type, it may hurt him, but learning to live with dissappointment will make him strong in the end.

None for me, but did get a "I like your kilt" from the other end of an aisle of my local mega mart Sunday, by I nice young lady.

Yes, it's very nice when some young person says, "Cool kilt, man," or even "Nice kilt!"

I much prefer that to "Nice skirt, lady." It does tend to amaze them at how fast on old faht in a kilt and ghillie brogues can move, though. :p

One of the more interesting comments I ever received was from a fellow when I walked into a bar one night on my way home from a PB performance. It's a bar where I am something of a regular whether dressed in trews or kilted up, but nonetheless, when he said, "Man, you must have a set of stones to wear that in here," I imagined it was hard to mistake the look of gratitude I'm certain was on my face. Those kinds of comments are rare. I hope that guy, if ever he's so inclined, will find the "stones" to wear a kilt wherever he'd like, as well.
