    Chesapeake Celtic Festival Oct 1&2
We will be doing a highland games demo at this festival on both days. Space is limited so we can't do hammer and mabey LWD(We'll have to see how much of a field we have). Caber, HWD, WOB, Open Stone, and Sheaf (20 and 16lb) look like a go.

This is not a game, just a demo, but that doesn't mean we aren't going to be competitive ;-) Guys will start a competition over anything.

    Good day at the Festival!
Got to do everything but the hammer. The caber we had was sweet, 19' X 130#

We decided to go with a 20# bag for the sheaf because our standards only went up to 20' That seemed to work out. About half of us could clear it which made for a good show. Crowd doesn't like seeing everyone clear it by feet.

One of the guys sent me pics he took of me doing the sheaf and WOB. My kilt in action!
