Hell-o all,

A sad emptiness in my neighborhood today. The nanny of my neighbor from across the street was murdered this morning while in her sleep in their basement. Her boyfriend turned himself into the police and admitted to the crime. Nothing was heard from anyone in the neighborhood as far as noise, still to early to tell what exactly happened.

Just had to share with you all.

Peace to her family (from Brazil) and to the neighbors at the loss of a beautiful young lady.

Sorry to hear that. It's sad that so many bad things seem to happen right around Christmas. I've heard that people who suffer from depression have a particularily bad time at this time of the year.

:sad: How very sad.The only plus to this is the fellow turned himself in, sparing her family the problem of not knowing who was responsible.

What a sad and strange situation. It boggles my mind to know what to say to something like this. I hope the survivors of both of these ruined lives can be at peace.
