Body revolts! Work stoppage at RKilts
Well, due to a health issue that came up Wednesday, I am out of commission till Tuesday. I have a tap in my hand for an IV which slightly impairs my sewing ability. Rather than sacrifice anyones order... I will be behind. So what that means to the members here who have ordered kilts from me, you will incure a slightly longer Jones time. Others I had some leadtime in...Rocky on the other hand is....(I can't use that word on this forum....)
I am well, or should say, on the road to recovery, the doctors think I'm only mildly crazy for wearing a kilt in winter...my brain isn't at risk anymore....well they reserved judgement...cause the nurses were paying rather unusual care to me....
I will be laying out kilts, cutting leather and fabric, just not building.
    My apologies.
    Cheers
    Robert

    Yeah! Try some Haggis Soup!

One of the BBC Cookery shows, 'Ready Steady Cook' has a recipe:

Preparation time less than 30 mins
Cooking time 10 to 30 mins

    Ingredients
    1 tbsp oil
    ½ leek, diced
    ½ potato, peeled and diced
    ¼ swede, peeled and diced
    ¾ pint good chicken stock
salt and freshly ground black pepper
    85g-110g/3-4 oz haggis

    Method
    1. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the leek, potato and swede for a few minutes, to soften. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
    2. Pour in the chicken stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat, add the haggis and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
    3. Remove from the heat and spoon into a soup bowl to serve.

    Serves 1 at these quantities,

    See here for the back-story.

    Best regards

A little single malt will go a long way towards recovery ... or at least making the recovery that much more enjoyable!

Best of luck and get well soon ...
