Celtic music with a kick
As I sit enjoying my Rusty Nail (made with the finest MacGregors Scotch) I'm going through my music library trying to find some good Celtic music to do PT to. So I decided to see if there were any videos of my favorite bands on YouTube. And then I found this gem. It seems the The Chieftans decided to make a video with Great Big Sea to the music of "Lukey". These guys look like they're really having some fun. Unfortunately, I've looked on iTunes and Napster and can't find Lukey played by both groups. Such a shame. I would have loved to put it on my MP3 player for my next PT session. Anyway, thought you all might enjoy seeing the video.
P.S. Sorry about the typing. It is Friday night after all. No work tomorrow. And I so enjoy a good Rusty Nail. Or two, or three....

Sometimes I put a little Scotch in my soda, just to get the peat taste. My father accuses me of abusing the alcohol.

Drillagent, the track is on the album "Fire in the Kitchen". It's a compilation of the Chieftains playing with various groups including Leahy, Natalie MacMaster, The Rankins, Ashley MacIssac, etc. It's a pretty good album with a lot of fast, wild tracks.

Grody! Dad was drinking one of those whilst we were in NJ a couple years back... handed me the glass and said, "Here Dana, taste something good." Foolishly, I did. PEH!!! About spit my sip across the room. Someone handed me a gin & tonic to cleanse my palate.
Y'all can have those things. I'd rather be drinking cosmos.
