Scottish All Rover Rally

Set in the Scottish Borders at Lauder, Thirlestane Castle has its origins in the 13th century. It was rebuilt as the Maitland family home in 1590 and greatly enhanced by the Duke of Lauderdale in the 1670s. In 1840, it was extended and refurbished with the addition of two new wings.

So where could you find a finer venue for the Scottish All Rover Rally.

Ann was soon in among the posh Range Rovers.

But I steered her towards the rugged old Land Rovers.

Those are great photos Alex, looks like a wonderful day for it.

Great shots and a wonderful setting for those delightful machines.
I'm most patial to the looks of the 1947 Rover 12 Tourer. All you need is a picnic basket in the back seat and a lovely lady to share it with and you're off. :)
Cheers

Excellent pics and it's good to see Ann out and about in the sunshine!

Nice pics.
I'm a past owner of a P5B and a 3500SE myself, as well as quite a few other Brit cars.
Al
Correction, that was meant to be a P6B, would have loved a P5B coupe though.

I think the only Rover I actually ever owned was a Metro but I remember the family owning a Wolsey. Great shots of some classic and well maintined vehicles!
