A caution to new registration

We are currently experiencing a huge increase in attempts by spammers to register to X Marks. We may have ended up on some spammer list or it just may be the spammers probing the entire web looking for weak sites.

X Marks actively screens every new registration in an effort to keep this forum free from the spam and ads from spammers.

As the favorite tool for spammers are VPN services and TOR we are currently taking extra caution from any new registration using one of these services.

If you register to X Marks and are using a VPN or TOR please understand that the use of these services may result in your acceptance being delayed or rejected outright as these services may have also been used by a spammer and may show up on the published lists of spammers.

Red Hot Chilli Pipers - new album preordering

The New album comes out on October 19th.
I went to Amazon.com to pre-order and it was listed at $42.98+S&H. I went to the Amazon UK site and was able to order the same album for 7.65 UK Pounds + 3.08 pounds for shipping. At todays exchange rate that comes out to 10.73 UK Pounds or about $17.00 US.

Hopefully this will allow for someone to save a few dollars.

Thanks for the heads up. With luck, iTunes will have it on the release date as well.

Imports are where Amazon really eats it. I used to buy UK label reggae and Amazon was nearly ALWAYS the worst price.

The other big beef I have is with a HUGE swath of the 'Amazon Marketplace Vendors'. The prices some of these unscrupulous hacks charge for things freely had elsewhere on the net is astounding.
